Selection of Precision CNC Machining Methods

1. Selection of the outer surface processing method of precision CNC machining parts

The main processing methods of the outer surface are turning and grinding. When the surface roughness is required to be small, it is necessary to carry out smoothing processing. The closest processing plan can be selected according to the processing surface requirements, the structural characteristics of the parts, the production type, the type of blanks, the nature of the material, the size, the geometric accuracy, the surface roughness requirements, and the on-site equipment and other conditions.

2. Selection of precision CNC machining plane processing method

The main processing methods of planes are milling, planing, turning, grinding and broaching, etc. The planes of precision CNC machining require frequent grinding or scraping.

3. Selection of precision CNC machining inner hole surface processing method

M02 is the main program end instruction. When this instruction is executed, the feed will stop, the spindle will stop, and the coolant will be shut off. But the program cursor stops at the end of the program.

M30 is the main program end instruction. The function is the same as M02, the difference is that the cursor returns to the program head position, regardless of whether there are other blocks after M30.

3. D and H addresses of Precision CNC machining have the same meaning

The compensation parameters D and H of lathe cutter have the same function and can be interchanged arbitrarily. They both represent the address name of the compensation register in the numerical control system. But the specific compensation value is determined by the compensation number address behind them. However, in the machining center, in order to prevent errors, it is generally specified that H is the tool length compensation address, the compensation number is from 1 to 20, and D is the tool radius compensation address, and the compensation number starts from No. 21 (tool magazine with 20 tools).

4. Introduction to the structure of horizontal CNC machining center

The main axis of the horizontal CNC machining center is parallel. Generally, the horizontal CNC machining center has 3-5 motion coordinate axes. Common horizontal CNC machining centers are three linear motion axes plus one rotary motion coordinate axis. Most of the worktables of horizontal CNC machining centers are square, which can complete the processing of all sides of the workpiece in one clamping.
